Our internet/e-mail has been down for about two weeks and that's the reason why I have not posted anything lately.
My first week of keeping a food diary and exercise daily went really well, I realized I eat way too much sugar and sometimes too much fat.
The second week I got very sick again and had a hard time dragging myself out of bed for work, so I didn't make it to the gym that week.
This past week I have still been recovering , but have gone to the gym three times and have been trying to keep a loose food diary, meaning that I keep track of what I eat and amounts, but not calories specifically(the lazy way of doing it).
I've lost a total of 6 pounds these last three weeks, which is still right on schedule for my weight loss goals-though I know it'll get more difficult to lose the next 'lot' of weight-hence next weeks goals.
My next goal is to continue with my food diary, 3 or more exercise times a week, plus overcoming my fear of weight machines and trying to incorporate a weight lifting routine into my schedule and also trying to rev-up my cardio routine- doing intervals of pushing myself/rising my heart rate higher.
PS in regards to the food diary, take it from me, if you don't keep it with you and write things down right away, you will usually forget- so if you want to try this, get a pocket/purse sized one to keep with you :)
