Easter Weekend

The Haas's came to visit us for Easter Weekend and had to leave early because of all the snow that WI was getting!

This past weekend we got to go visit Pa and Ma Mulder and also got to see my dear friend Renee and meet her darling new son, Landon.

The Next week:

I was just sitting here at the computer, reflecting on the week and excited for this next week coming up.
This next weekend I look forward to going to WI and getting to see my Pa(Mulder) who has been in S. Africa the last two and some weeks, I will also get to see my dear friend Renee and her new son Landon( I'll get to see him for the very first time), who will be visiting from Florida and will also get to see my Mammie and hopefully get to donate my hair! Of course I get to have great long chats with my wonderful hubby on the drive too :)
How very exciting!
I feel very blessed- thanks Jesus for such great family and friends.

Adam and Angie's wedding in Eau Claire, WI

Jason and I got to go to Eau Claire, WI for Adam and Angie(now Leicht)'s wedding.
We got to see a bunch of ol' Nav friends and had a terrific time, with lots of chatting, rejoicing and dancing.
We also got to see Dad and Mom Haas when we were in Madison and had fabulous conversation and Rocky Roccoco pizza and dreamed together about warmer climates(ah-hem, specifically San Antonio, TX) and wishing for spring and summer to come to WI and IL.

2nd post on goals and exercise

Our internet/e-mail has been down for about two weeks and that's the reason why I have not posted anything lately.

My first week of keeping a food diary and exercise daily went really well, I realized I eat way too much sugar and sometimes too much fat.
The second week I got very sick again and had a hard time dragging myself out of bed for work, so I didn't make it to the gym that week.
This past week I have still been recovering , but have gone to the gym three times and have been trying to keep a loose food diary, meaning that I keep track of what I eat and amounts, but not calories specifically(the lazy way of doing it).

I've lost a total of 6 pounds these last three weeks, which is still right on schedule for my weight loss goals-though I know it'll get more difficult to lose the next 'lot' of weight-hence next weeks goals.

My next goal is to continue with my food diary, 3 or more exercise times a week, plus overcoming my fear of weight machines and trying to incorporate a weight lifting routine into my schedule and also trying to rev-up my cardio routine- doing intervals of pushing myself/rising my heart rate higher.

PS in regards to the food diary, take it from me, if you don't keep it with you and write things down right away, you will usually forget- so if you want to try this, get a pocket/purse sized one to keep with you :)
